Summary:
Acrisure has been named the fastest growing insurance brokerage firm three years in a row by Business Insurance Magazine. We have over 200 locations across the US and continue to grow every month. To fuel that growth we have another exciting opportunity as an Account Manager – Life & Health at Wilshire Insurance Agency, an Acrisure Agency Partner. This position supports several books of business and is expected to provide prompt, accurate and courteous support service to clients and colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage ongoing client and carrier relationships
• Maintain knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA compliance measures
• Communicate due dates, timelines and expectations to clients and management
• Prepare insurance contracts for new clients, effectively utilizing resources
• Administer renewals, including preparing proposals, for existing clients
• Facilitate regular in-person service meetings with assigned clients
• Develop employee memorandum drafts for client to communicate the following; annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures, miscellaneous benefit changes and/or clarifications
• Handle medium to large groups with up to 500 lives
• Review emails within 24 hours and client voicemails within 2-4 hours

Education and/or Experience:
• High school diploma or the equivalent in education and experience required.
• Bilingual – Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in both English and Spanish.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role working with Life & Health.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• In addition, this individual must possess a Life & Health License.

Computer Skills:
• Proficient in Outlook, Windows, Excel and Word
• Ability to learn additional software and systems.

Other Qualifications:
• Must be task oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and have ability to prioritize work load.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must have strong presentation skills and excellent time management skills.
• Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, sensitive to client needs, self-motivated.
