Summary:

To fuel that growth we have another exciting opportunity as a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager with Crissie Insurance Group, an Acrisure Agency Partner. This position will have the primary account responsibility for policy maintenance and service of an assigned portion of accounts. Individual is expected to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to those clients as well as prospective clients.

About the Job:
Broad knowledge of commercial insurance with emphasis on large complex accounts including construction risks. Knowledge of bonding is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage a large, complex book of business
• Make positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strives to improve service to the customer
• Establish and maintain a good business relationship with clients, carriers and coworkers
• Respond in a timely manner to the requests and needs of the client, sales executive, and department manager
• Ability to independently work assigned accounts, new and/or renewal, beginning with gathering of information, marketing and ending with the completion of the sale
• Accompany Sales Executive on prospect and client meetings when requested
• Gather necessary underwriting information from the sales executive and/or client and complete applications; submit application to eligible and appropriate carriers and negotiate favorable pricing and coverages with carriers
• Create new/renewal proposals in accordance with the company standards
• Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verify accuracy and forward to client with appropriate correspondence
• Review audits of policies, verify accuracy and facilitate corrections as needed between client and carrier
• Manage and maintain file documentation in accordance with Agency standards
• Keep up to date on rates, forms, coverage changes and other relevant industry information
• Expanded knowledge of the industry with focus on company appetite

Education and/or Experience:
• Ten (10) years of experience working with commercial insurance is required.
• Industry designation is required.
• Must possess an active P&C license.

Computer Skills:
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Agency Management Systems.
• Ability to effectively navigate carrier websites.

Other Qualifications:
• Must be organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and be efficient with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must have a high level of problem-solving skills.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to effectively work a large variety of personalities.
