What you'll do
Determines risk acceptability by evaluating various facts & risk characteristics; communicate decisions both externally and internally; document decisions; survey new business applicants to determine rating and information accuracy.

Knowledge of laws governing insurance plans. Must possess good skills in the following areas: writing, documentation, listening, verbal communication, typing, keyboard skills including navigation and updating computer systems, telephone customer service survey, basic math, accuracy, organization, analytical and computer proficiency in Microsoft Word . Education/Experience: minimum 1 year experience in Insurance and pursuing IIA certification with a minimum of one exam passed. Or minimum 1 year experience in insurance and pursuing CPCU designation with a minimum of one exam passed. Or college degree.
