The purpose of the Producers is the drive new business and sales growth, while retaining existing clients and revenue.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and qualify leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and other lead generation resources
  • Use a consultative sales approach, gather information and present proposals and presentations to C-level executives
  • Obtain professional and technical knowledge by attending industry workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing industry professional networks and continued education
  • Identify and achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis centered on our target market of employers with an employee count of 100-3000
  • Create positive synergy with internal partners and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other lines of business (Property/Casualty and Personal lines) to enhance and cultivate prospect and client relationships
  • Develop, maintain and communicate expertise on products, industry and emerging market trends, including legislative and regulatory issues
  • Positively and proactively represent Insgroup in meetings, seminars and networking events

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of outside business to business sales experience
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with C-level executives and business owners
  • Experience selling a complex service or product to high level decision makers
  • Motivated and results driven
  • Ability to act independently
  • Willingness to travel locally
