Onsite Account Manager

The Onsite Account Manager has the unique responsibility of providing outstanding service and driving new policy sales directly onsite at one of GE's largest locations! This Account Manager will build and maintain a positive relationship with key GE HR and business partners, and will perform marketing, sales, customer service, and underwriting functions to drive new enrollments. Daily responsibilities include meeting one on one with GE employees to discuss their individual insurance needs, establishing/maintaining GE business relationships, providing a professional Electric Insurance image, and proactively identifying and executing marketing and communication actions within the GE guidelines that will increase premium and account penetration in Evendale and the Greater Cincinnati area. This position will also be responsible for developing, implementing and measuring both employee and location specific marketing campaigns (in partnership with the Electric Insurance marketing team), including but not limited to promotional events at GE and similar businesses in the surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Be the face of Electric Insurance by establishing relationships with key HR & Business partners, as well as new and existing customers
  • Generate new business enrollments
  • Proactively identifying gaps in coverages and providing coverage options through Risk Coach reviews
  • Thinking creatively and developing new ways to interact with employees
  • Plan, lead, and execute promotional events throughout local GE Sites
  • Maintain the GE Marketing Calendar for all promotional events and site visits, driving incremental leads, quotes and premium for the GE Channel
  • Develop new opportunities for employee access and visibility through developing relationships with Affinity groups and sponsorship of employee events
  • Process quotes and issue policies for Personal Lines products (Automobile, Home, Renters, Umbrella policies)
  • Provide customer solutions by offering and issuing policies through our partner carriers via our in-house Agency, Electric Insurance Agency, LLC.
  • Retaining and rounding existing accounts
  • Building a genuine connection with the customer and providing an outstanding customer experience
  • Ability to resolve customer concerns and issues
  • Gathering and recording competitive rate information and articulating our competitive position through internal channels
  • Travel <15% of the time

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or work equivalent
  • P&C license
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in property and casualty insurance
  • Electric Insurance experience, knowledge of our products and brand considered a plus
  • A passion for customers
  • Self-starter with solid follow through and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Excellent rapport building skills
  • Shown ability to resolve customer concerns and issues
  • Superior communication (written & verbal) and organization skills
  • A positive, ambitious attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
