The Account Manager III is primarily responsible for partnering with the BOKF Insurance (BOKFI) team to execute core functions required to manage the relationship with defined large accounts. Services clients on a day to day basis. Directly consults the client in collaboration with the BOKFI team, and provides recommendations and guidance. Functions as part of a team on BOKFI's key and complex accounts and must be able to work independently.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Owns the process of driving and developing key strategic deliverables based upon the needs of the client. Collaborates with the BOKFI team to identify new business opportunities. If applicable, oversees the data collection and system testing for applicable systems. Owns (or assists the Account Executive at times) new carrier, vendor, and other program implementations on behalf of the client in collaboration with the BOKFI team. Attends client meetings (some travel may be required).
  2. Analyzes, evaluates, recommends and implements solutions for various complex client related issues and problems that arise. This includes advocating for the client by providing training, guidance and resolution to complex, escalated client/employee issues. Performs complex research, develops solutions and communicates the resolution of the problem to client. Researches and resolves technology related client issues. Involved in compliance related issues and oversight of compliance activities. Maintains internal client management database (EPIC).
  3. Represents BOKFI in the marketplace by establishing and maintaining healthy carrier/vendor relationships. Acts as the subject matter expert in all carrier contract provisions, products, plan designs and networks. As the subject matter expert, when complex questions arise, must use knowledge to consult BOKFI clients. Must own the learning process of all current products and contracts plus all new emerging products and trends. Owns the learning process of all products and contracts for each carrier/vendor in order to advise and consult BOKFI clients and employees.
  4. Leads and participates in special projects as needed.
  5. Develops new templates and process as needed to remain competitive or address changing needs while maintaining departmental consistencies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel and Power Point
  • Proficient in the area of compliance, competition, carrier appetite and product offerings
  • Excellent public speaking and group presentation skills
  • Strong financial and analytic ability with high affinity to detail
  • Applicable state insurance licenses required (Property and Casualty for Risk Management).
  • Minimum three years in client management

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 year(s) experience; or 8-10 years equivalent work-related experience.
