The primary role of a Senior Director, Insurance Consulting
and Technology (ICT) is to drive revenue generation for the ICT business by
maintaining the strength of the Willis Towers Watson (WTW) market position.
This will involve maximizing revenue from existing client relationships and
both developing new client relationships and leveraging relationships that
exist within other lines of business and geographies to create new business
opportunities.

Close working relationships will be required
with the Sales and Practice Leader and with other senior practitioners in the
Americas.

Responsibilities:

Financial


  • Actively seek new business development opportunities and maximize
    business through relationships and contacts
  • Meet billable hours and sales targets, operating as a highly respected
    and market-leading consultant
  • Participate fully in the ICT practice and the achievement of the overall
    ICT business plan and budget 

Client 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key players within the Insurance
    and Financial Services market
  • Maintain a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through
    effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
  • Work closely with the ICT Region Manager and other regional ICT Leaders
    to ensure client satisfaction and the meeting of regional business goals
  • Take ultimate responsibility for the delivery of projects which meet or
    exceed client expectations, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to
    budget
  • Seek opportunities to share knowledge/clients/resources to maximize
    business effectiveness across the Americas Region









 

People


  • Manage and mentor junior colleagues, supporting career development and
    exam success
  • Collaborate with other WTW Lines of Business and other ICT colleagues to
    leverage client relationships
  • Act as a mentor and role model for junior colleagues and help others to
    develop business in line with the firm’s values
  • Participate in ICT regional and cross-functional teams, bringing
    technical expertise and promoting teamwork to ensure client satisfaction and
    profitable business growth
  • Engage fully with the resourcing process to ensure optimal utilization
    of junior associates

  • Ensure that projects are appropriately defined, pitched, budgeted,
    resourced and delivered to enable maximization of revenue potential along with
    high quality and efficient delivery
  • Develop and promote WTW as a key player in the market with excellent
    industry knowledge, insights and analysis
  • Maintain and develop own technical and industry knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of our product and service offerings






Requirements: 

  • Strong P&C insurance market knowledge
  • FCAS or ACAS or equivalent (e.g.,FIA)
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of industry experience
  • Broad knowledge of most of the technical areas including reserving,
    pricing, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, predictive modeling and
    ERM
  • Demonstrated ability to propose and win profitable new business within
    the Insurance and Financial Services market
  • Proven ability to build strong client and associate relationships,
    influence CEOs, CROs, Chief Actuaries and CFOs and provide innovative solutions
  • Proven project and staff management skills
  • Proven people management skills
  • Self-driven achiever with a value for teamwork, collaboration, decisiveness
    and integrity
