Summary of Position
The HR Associate role is focused on two main areas: Employee Engagement and Recruiting. As an HR Associate, you will coordinate and facilitate Human Resources activities for our sales centers. Working closely with other team members, you'll implement and influence people programs and processes as well as resolve employee inquiries on a wide range of HR topics, while escalating more complex issues to senior team members as appropriate. At the same time, you will have an incredible impact as the initial point of contact and first impression for all candidates. You also play a significant role in shaping our company culture and finding individuals who embody our core values and customer-focused mission.
Responsibilities:• Promote employee engagement by aiding in periodic special events as well as company and local recognition programs• Partner with management to creatively facilitate an excellent overall employee experience• Provide outstanding customer service and support to employees to foster a work environment that upholds the company’s principles and culture• Responsible for generalist type duties such as answering HR related questions and escalating and/or documenting Employee Relations and Legal issues as appropriate to the HR Manager, Site Director, etc.• Refers people as needed to resource, including EAP, benefits manager, community resources, medical leaves and more• Conduct HIGH VOLUME recruiting. Create and post job ads, advertise events, and assist in coordinating internal job fairs and information sessions• Responsible for screening/interviewing and scheduling candidates, sending and collecting assessment results, licensure needs and background checks• Maintain the applicant database, conduct high volume of first round interviews, and schedule second round interviews• Ensure interview notes are completed and stored, send offer letters, and start new hire file, routinely conduct group orientation and onboarding 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:• This is a full-time position• Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday from approximately 9am to 5pm• Hours can average 45-60 per week and are heavily affected by the sales agent recruiting cycle, summer months are busiest, with limited or no PTO available 
Qualifications:• Experience with HRIS and/or ATS• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Extreme organizational skills• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)• Ability to anticipate challenges and problem-solve• Ability to develop and maintain relationships across the entire organization• Flexibility to change direction quickly, without getting lost
Required and/or Preferred Education and Experience:• College degree in Human Resources or related field• At least 2 years of experience Recruiter or similar HR role• At least 2 years of employee relations experience • Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred• Experience in environment containing large population of hourly employees preferred • Experience in a sales or call center environment preferred
