improve governance.  We are a global investment consulting practice
providing advice to institutional investors (primarily defined benefits and
defined contribution plans) in the areas of asset allocation, investment policy,
investment manager evaluation and research, investment performance evaluation
and miscellaneous investment research.

The Role:The Investment Performance and Reporting (IP&R)
role will be based in Atlanta, Georgia and responsible for calculating and reporting
performance for our North American clients (DB, DC, NDT plans) and also provide
data management and analytical support to consulting staff. Performance
evaluation and report production services for North America are centralized
through offices in Atlanta and Mexico City.

Skills:
  • Calculate and analyze time-weighted and money-weighted
    returns using daily, monthly and quarterly accounting data and be able to
    articulate how and when each should be used
  • Calculate and analyze monthly ex-post risk statistics
    (standard deviation, tracking error, etc.) 
  • Calculate and analyze monthly equity holdings based
    attribution
  • Timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc
    performance reports
  • Keep abreast of industry initiatives and market trends
    that impact the investment business 
  • Collect custodial and manager data (electronic)
  • Create and maintain databases
  • Lead special projects
  • Build strong relationships internally and
    collaborate effectively on teams
  • Regularly interact with investment managers,
    custodians and other data vendors to concisely communicate and resolve issues
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when
    dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
  • Be a mentor and/or direct people manager to 1 or more
    colleagues
  • Regularly interact with consultants and analysts to
    communicate performance results and understand investment strategies and
    changing market conditions
  • Deliver on projects to meet or exceed
    expectations
  • Meet chargeable hours targets
The
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree required; CIPM or Investment
    Foundations Certificate or active candidacy preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in some or all areas of
    investment consulting - capital markets analysis, investment management
    and/or asset management preferred
  • Experience with InvestorForce, PARis, SimCorp
    Dimension, FactSet, Bloomberg, or Morningstar Direct highly preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of investment performance
    reporting requirements and GIPS standards preferred
  • Interest in and understanding of financial
    markets and institutional investing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable and successful in a team environment;
    able to fit seamlessly on teams of senior and more junior colleagues
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with
    internal professional staff and outside parties on an independent basis
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and
    databases
  • Ability and desire to learn and teach others
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful
    attention to detail in a time sensitive environment
  •  Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet
    deadlines and address competing priorities
  • Inquiring and analytically minded with a logical
    and thorough work ethic; strong organization skills
