Job Description

This position will contribute to the Sales Support & Account Management (SSAM) Department by developing professional expertise in particular subject matters. This position will develop an understanding of competitor practices and make change recommendations as appropriate for the Large Market Team. Guided by professional standards, this position will provide technical and professional advice to internal and external customers. This position will feel comfortable analyzing information from a variety of sources, simplifying complex ideas, and recognizing items for escalation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the importance of developing personal connections with brokers/partners, enrollment firms, and clients.
  • Understand and execute the completion of a standard proposal.
  • Understand the peer review process for proposals and RFPs.
  • Understand how to complete and utilize account management project plans.
  • Understand the importance of providing proactive client management.
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional partners and understand the importance of cross-functional teams in how they support our accounts.
  • Understand and follow best practice guidelines to maintain reporting and records for AB accounts to ensure transparency and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Understand the importance of communication and how it impacts the life cycle of an account.

Education and Experience

  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Must be proficient in the following applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Pro and various administration systems.
