The Enterprise Payments team vision is to provide a secure enterprise payment utility to support Allstate’s evolving product portfolio, enabling customers to pay when, where and how they want. Our team is building an API-focused, simple-to-consume platform to transact payments for any product or service from entry through capture, settlement and reconciliation.
The SAP Enterprise Payments team developer will contribute to a dynamic team of technology professionals in a fast-paced environment as they create innovative solutions leveraging back-end SAP FS-CD module for payment settlement and reconciliation. The position requires a strong well-rounded SAP functional leader who is eager to learn our existing payment processes, expand skillset around new payment trends and implement new features and functionality which will support the enterprise transformation.Job Description
Expectations for an SAP developer include:
Designing, configuring and implementing SAP solutions to meet complex business challenges
Working directly with business and technical teams in assessing and providing technology support
Understanding multiple end-to-end business and technology processes to become a subject matter expert
Understanding technical details, integration, and functions of SAP and non-SAP systems
Evaluating potential system enhancements and upgrades and influencing the product roadmap
Identifying and implementing process improvements and product simplification opportunities
Providing technical or functional leadership for junior team members
Ensuring industry and technology best practices are followed for securing applications
You have deep understanding of SAP FS-CD or other SAP modules, PS-CD or (public sector-collections & disbursements)
Incoming/outgoing payment processing experience
You have deep understanding of technology best practices
You have experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile SCRUM methodologies.
You have excellent problem-solving skills and love to continuously learn
You are a team player and have well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
You are dedicated, self-directed, motivated, proactive and inquisitive
You are ready to judge your success by the success of your team and the happiness of your customers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering
- 5+ years of SAP functional experience
- Prior hands-on experience with SAP FS-CD or SAP FI-CA development and implementation
- Prior experience with payment processing, payment capabilities or integration with payment providers a plus
