Allstate’s growing User Experience Group is looking for a UX Portfolio Manager who wants to do innovative work in a flexible and fun environment. Allstate is looking for someone who can organize digital projects from the ground up. Do you possess exceptional communication skills? Are you energized by facilitating diverse teams toward clear priorities, shared goals and measures of success? Are you wired to think broadly about systems, patterns and process to innovate and improve how organizations work? You will work closely with fellow UX team members to nurture partner relationships and requests. We’re looking for you to help scale human-centered design in our organization and enable our design team to function seamlessly. Your leadership will be critical to maturing our UX practice, as you help manage some of our most visible digital products.

Job Description

Design Program Management
•Manage relationships with internal business and technology partners
•Understand partner area business strategies, goals, products and roadmaps
•Facilitate new work requests, clearly defining the UX engagement
•Facilitate new work requests, effectively prioritizing and clearly defining the UX engagement
•Track and report on delivery performance and resource capacity
•Collaborate with partners and address design risk mitigation and issue resolution

Talent, Process and Operational Effectiveness
•Care for our humans; improve hiring, onboarding, personal development and recognition practices
•Educate to insure a clear understanding of design activities; demonstrate UX value
•Standardize, measure and optimize our design processes and tools to drive design quality and efficiency
•Assist with UX expense management and reporting as needed

Job Qualifications

•6+ years of design program, operations or account management experience in delivering digital solutions
•Consumer-centric predisposition and demonstrated relationship building experience
•Polished communication and presentation skills; effectively navigate crucial conversations
•Ability to understand data, analyze results and draw insights
•Demonstrated collaborative, experimental and holistic approach to problem solving
•Ability to work independently and apply strategic, systems thinking to maturing the UX practice
•Experience organizing and adapting UX team practices within an agile scrum or XP environment
•Knowledge of best practices for planning and executing human-centered design
•Bachelor’s degree required

Compensation Data

The minimum salary for this position is $75,900. The salary offered will be commensurate with experience.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
