Contributes to a wide variety of projects involving the design, financing, delivery, ongoing management and communication of health and group benefits programs for Brokerage & Advisory clients. Junior level position where the incumbent will gain the foundational skills needed in employee benefits and insurance to advance in the Client Service Team.

The Role

Requirements


  • Completes Brokerage & Advisory new hire checklist and internal training modules
  • Contributes to employee benefits strategy and the renewal/marketing process through gathering vendor/ client information, preparing RFPs, inputting, tracking and analyzing benchmarking data (and providing value-added analysis and summaries), etc.
  • Contributes to completion of reports and administrative actions for clients including Form 5500 filings, policy checking and delivery, monthly reporting of client and carrier information, summary plan descriptions, etc.
  • Responds to client inquiries and escalates/resolves complicated client issues
  • Uses discretion to escalate claims issues by identifying where plan provisions were misapplied
  • Contributes to the client open enrollment process including preparing materials and presentations, checking information, updating internal systems, delivering enrollment presentations, etc.
  • Understands and adheres to the Brokerage & Advisory Value Proposition and Excellence Model
