Avail is a new car sharing platform focused on improving mobility and reducing the cost of car ownership.  We provide a safe and easy experience for both owners and borrowers to list and book vehicles across multiple concepts: travelers coming in and out of major airports and as an affordable alternative during insurance claims.  

Job Summary

Avail is seeking a highly motivated, strategic marketing manager to join the Marketing team and lead integrated marketing efforts. This team member will drive authentic storytelling, delivered effectively and efficiently across paid media touchpoints, to not only create and build awareness, but also to develop a positive connection that sustains over time with new and returning consumers. This person will manage direct execution of an integrated marketing strategy, through collaboration and partnership with both external and internal partners, in order to reach the right consumers with the right message in the right time and in the right place. This role reports directly to the marketing director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow brand awareness and understanding through effective creative and efficient media plans that deliver business growth via mid and upper funnel channels.
  • Partner with a multi-functional agency team and cross-collaborate with internal SEO, content, lifecycle, direct response, and in-house design teams.
  • Make decisions based on structured, rigorous thinking, and know when to take a creative leap of faith for big rewards.
  • Be scrappy and move fast while keeping an eye toward scalability and efficiency to unlock additional opportunities for growth.
  • Understand business complexities and iterate against a creative brand marketing plan that addresses these nuances.
  • Leverage data and research to uncover consumer and creative insights that lead to differentiating brand campaigns that create awareness and engagement.

Job Qualifications
  • 6+ years of progressive integrated marketing, advertising, or consumer-facing brand experience.
  • Experience in agency, tech, mobility and/or new ventures preferred.
  • Have experience successfully partnering with internal and/or external creative teams to develop breakthrough creative.
  • Skilled in campaign and media planning with an omni-channel approach that incorporates both traditional (eg, tv, radio, direct mail), digital, and emerging channels.
  • Experience optimizing a performance marketing mix to achieve business objectives is ideal.
  • Superior problem-solver who is comfortable prioritizing (and re-prioritizing) projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic and resourceful, “get it done” mindset.
  • Superior cross-functional communications skills along with high capacity, energy, and work ethic.

The

minimum

starting salary for this role is $76,000 per year.
