This role is intended to identify and oversee ongoing projects with a specific beginning, end, and achievable goal. The Project Manager will be responsible for tracking all work and working groups involved in a project including software development, business operations, and third party entities. The Project Manager will be expected to regularly follow up with all parties to make sure they are aware of and able to fulfill their assigned responsibilities, as well as to communicate status and changes in priority of other working groups.

The Role:

  • Track and communicate progress/health of all ongoing projects and teams / resources
  • Coordinate prioritization of project backlog and assignment of resources
  • Coordinate re-prioritization of ongoing projects and resolution of blocking issues
  • Maintain a roadmap and schedule of project deliveries and resource availability / capacity
  • Implement a methodology or work plan under which activities can be sequenced and completed 
  • Ensure that project cash and labor expenses are accommodated and reported to keep financial records up to date for tax and accounting purposes
  • Coordinate relevant sponsors and contributors in correctly setting expectations of project parameters (budget, scope, resources, quality) and gathering post-delivery feedback on achievement of original goal
  • Do not allow problems to go unspoken/unsolved

The Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Project Management.
  • University degree in a related field or relevant experience
  • Must be comfortable discussing coordinating projects across many different departments: Development, call center operations, human resources, marketing, business intelligence.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately represent all parties in an unbiased manner
  • Develop creative and innovative ways to improve the organizations ability to achieve its goals
  • Work in cooperation with others to foster teamwork, resolve problems, and make effective decisions
  • Be a positive influence and bring up difficult topics when it’s in the best interest of the business
  • Awareness of communicated goals, don’t lose sight of the forest for the trees

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP and/or ACP Certification(s)
  • Experience with applying typical PMI activities and methodologies
  • Experience working in a call center operations environment a plus
  • Experience with program or portfolio management in a supportive PMO role
