Job Summary

Develop and lead the field organization of an innovative roadside service network that uses both a traditional provider and crowdsourcing network known as One Network to enhance customer experience and value. Will perform field-related activities for growing and sustaining the One Network in one or more markets, managing network performance to exceed customer and provider expectations.



Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana; however, candidates from other states are welcome to apply and will be considered.


Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support the One Network in a local market(s) with the guidance and support of a regional network manager
  • Has impact at a multi-market level or above by leading and participating in cross functional teams to improve operational strategies and tactics
  • May have indirect vendor management over Band B level Contingent workers.
  • Lead local service provider sourcing and recruitment, education, validation, onboarding, support, and relationship development and communications
  • Be accountable for achieving local network performance targets (timeliness, quality, customer satisfaction, severity savings, etc.)
  • Participate in the regional leadership team, regularly sharing observations and ideas and contributing to the evolution of business strategy and practices
  • Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration, learning, and skillful innovation and evolution
  • Proactively identify network performance improvements using data and analytics tools provided by the central operations team
  • Manage operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage loss control and fraud detection
  • Ensure team members receive timely and appropriate training and development
  • Establish and monitor team and individual performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals with E band or above oversight.
  • Individual will typically have at least one complex market that they support/manage and is accountable for the results of his/her individual performance. Complex markets are defined as including high volume, high out of network severity, large geographies, natural disaster zones, and/or difficult to retain networks.
Compensation Data

The compensation range for this position is $75,900-100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Qualifications
  • BA degree or comparable experience base
  • 5+ years of service network management preferably in roadside assistance or similar services
  • Experience in strategic decision-making
  • Considered a thought leader in respective field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a new service network and field leadership team over a large territory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong in-person presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the network and corporation ranging from service providers to senior executives
  • Ability to represent ARS in a variety of internal and external forums
  • Process-oriented and able to lead major process improvement projects
  • Strong skills in operational analysis and management including using Excel and self-service analytics tools
  • Regular travel required (up to 40% of the time)
