Job Summary

Associate with 1-2 years of hands-on development experience in photo labeling or virtual property assessment. Under general supervision, the Photo Labeling Associate will be responsible for correctly identifying property features in images (for example, a pool) and electronically annotating their findings. The associate will work very closely with a data science team to fuel groundbreaking research for pricing, claims, and underwriting use-cases. The individual is capable of working independently, prioritizing the individual's own responsibilities, and managing the individual's own workload. The individual is also gaining experience and consistently meets band level behaviors, production, quality, cycle time and/or customer service goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use photographs/videos provided by the data science team to identify property features and label them appropriately
  • Collaborate with technical team to discuss label quality, issues, and progress
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal customers and act with empathy
  • Beginning to apply knowledge of insurance policy, coverage, and regulation
  • Beginning to apply knowledge of basic analytical procedures to reconcile, manipulate, and recognize patterns of data

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience


  • High school /G.E.D. or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


  • None

Functional Skills


  • Intermediate computer skills (e.g. MS Office)
  • Strong ability to quickly transition between projects and learn new label definitions provided by the technical team
  • Basic organizational skills
  • Strong focus capacity to produce consistent and accurate image labels and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate efficiently
  • Basic labeling tool familiarity
Compensation Data

Salary range is $19/hr - $23/hr. Salary is commensurate with experience.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
