Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for managing tasks on a Project or a sub-Project that is part of a larger Project or Program. The Project Leader controls planning. This position is responsible for managing tasks on a project or sub-project in an agile product management environment. The Project Leader will act as the primary tool support for the project areas to ensure the intentional use of team collaboration & training tools such as Mural, Zoom, MS Teams and other applications. The Project Leader will maintain and provide support for these tools and/or applications including usage guidance, training & content development to enrich the agile product management practices throughout Business Insurance. The Project Leader controls planning and execution of tasks or sub-project activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met. The Project Leader works with supervision and guidance and is responsible for applying basic Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. The Project Leader operates within defined parameters using a proven project management methodology.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manages project tasks and sub-projects against time and budget plans
  • Monitors contingency plans and communicates effectively
  • Maintains content and collaboration site for Community of Practice
  • Support for team collaboration tools/applications which includes research, support and ongoing coordination.
  • Builds and deliveries training content.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of project management experience required.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of project management experience preferred.
  • Experience managing the entire life cycle of a project preferred
  • Agile Product Management experience preferred.
  • Experience in facilitation and training preferred
  • Experience in Mural, MS Teams, Zoom and other project collaboration tools preferred.
