Job Summary

Line Management job family manages and provides countrywide strategies that enable the success of a product line. Leads innovations and integrates line needs across AORs. This team is responsible for the overall financial and product health of the line.



The Line Management Associate Manager provides analysis and support necessary to achieve profit and growth targets for a line(s) of business and is also accountable for providing expertise to make or evaluate recommendations on initiatives. This role will also influence the design development of personal lines insurance products and support other business units, inside and outside of Product Line Management, to ideate, explore and prepare product enhancements and solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to PPL Product Management business strategy and participate as a member of functional as well as cross-functional teams
  • Perform in-depth analysis of product, pricing, and underwriting to develop recommendations to improve market share, competitive position and overall performance.
  • Influence and facilitate efforts across the organization to research, develop and implement new personal lines products and initiatives
  • Manage / perform complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels and navigate obstacles to deliver the work product
  • Measure and communicate results; make recommendations to leaders on redirection opportunities of efforts
  • This position may manage lower level analysts in accomplishing this work.
Job Qualifications

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience

Functional Skills


  • Advanced product, price, underwriting and insurance regulation knowledge, with working knowledge of Allstate Personal Lines’ rate plans and product offerings
  • Advanced knowledge about business in general, knowledge of industry and company economics
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills combined with the ability to influence others of all levels
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with demonstrated sense of curiosity and desire to solve problems
  • Demonstrate and foster a sense of urgency, strong commitment and accountability for achieving superior results
  • Ability to understand business tactics to support changing business strategies and direction
  • Collaborates to implement decisions and / or initiatives in an integrated manner
  • People and subject matter expertise; Ability to develop, mentor and coach others
Compensation Data

Compensation for this position will be $75,900 to $138,300/year. Actual salary offered will depend on selected candidate's experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
