As the Client Management Assistant to a Willis Towers Watson outsourced corporate risk management department, you will be directly supporting the Director of Risk Management Services for a large global client. This position requires a passion for client/customer satisfaction as well as the desire to continually tackle new challenges. This position often requires the handling of sensitive information with professionalism and integrity. The Role


  • The Client Management Assistant plays a key role in supporting many client-focused activities of this risk management department, including but not limited to: client planning, project management, project delivery, client satisfaction, and relationship development.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Risk Management Services provided to the Client
  • Work directly with the WTW Risk Management team to support a variety of client deliverables, including Corporate Insurance, Claims Management, and Program Support.
  • Provide advanced level support in the full Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel
  • Assist with contract review risk assessment, ensuring compliance with existing programs and providing risk mitigation strategies for new business proposals
  • Support the development of department documents including presentations in PowerPoint and Word and other documentation in Adobe Acrobat and Excel and other written documentation/communication
  • Ability to become proficient in the department’s custom Risk and Insurance Management System (RMIS) within a reasonable time frame
  • Ensure quality control/proofreading/editing
  • Manage complex calendaring and meeting schedules, including WebEx support
  • Participate in team meetings and proactively support the capturing and completion of next steps and action items
  • Support ministrative needs of the Director of Risk Management Services
  • Oversee department project administration (including project set-up and contract administration, file maintenance, etc.)
  • Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations
  • Increase efficiency by identifying ways to improve processes
  • Serve our client in a professional and collaborative manner
  • Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with client stakeholders/colleagues at all levels

  • Support the collaborative team environment by partnering with other department staff through workflow, partnership and teamwork to support all team needsAs needed, support process billing and prepare client invoices
  • Produce general project financial reports in a timely fashion as needed

The Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience providing administrative support
  • 5+ years corporate insurance management, risk management, insurance carrier, Government Contracting experience, and/or Insurance Risk Assessment
  • Ability to interface and work well with client stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Strong sense of professionalism and maturity
  • Outstanding technical kill in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Adobe)
  • Experience with Deltek, Costpoint, Workday, and/RIMS preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise with PowerPoint charts and graphs
  • Ability to produce consistently high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Ability to become proficient in department’s RMIS in a reasonable time
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Resourceful, proactive self-starter with the ability to think ahead
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as part of a team
