Job Summary

Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for a Workflow COE Product Manager!

As a Workflow COE Product Manage, you will be responsible for contributing towards defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products in the Claims Workflow COE department. You will also be responsible for leading/managing one or more technology or non-technology projects that are of high complexity and require extensive collaboration with Claims employees and Claims business process owners. You will assist with establishing strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads one or more complex technology or non-technology projects that require collaboration with Claims employees and business process owners as well as internal and external partners
  • Partners with business stakeholders to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, deliverables, and budgets
  • Directs performance of daily tasks necessary for successful project execution
  • Identifies activities that impact productivity and revises them to improve workflow and resource management
  • Resolves complex issues and ensures task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts with team members and functional managers
  • Participates in or leads meetings to present communications, project status and results
  • Responds to Field questions about project objectives
  • Identifies and addresses risks and issues associated with a project
  • Leads open discussions concerning project issues and risks
  • Provide input on decomposing complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the Product Team.
  • Assist with managing the product backlog, contribute towards creating an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.

  • Bachelor Degree Preferred; High School Diploma or equivelent required
  • Prior Product or Project Management experience preferred
  • Having experience with Tableau, SQL, and/or JaveScript is a plus
  • Applies advanced knowledge of analytical procedures to reconcile, manipulate, and recognize patterns of data
  • Applies advanced knowledge of problem solving skills and preparation of complex reports for analysis to continuosuly improve business outcomes
  • Applies advanced knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards
  • Applies advanced industry knowledge to discipline practices to support the business unit
  • Ability to use conflict management and resolution skills to effectively coach and communicate with internal and external customers with empathy
  • Provides advanced individual decision making within authority limits
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Known for clear and professional communication – both written and verbal.
  • Being bilingual and/or having prior military experience is a plus.

Compensation Data

Compensation range for this position is $75,900 - $125,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
