Job Description Summary
As an integral member of the Compensation Team, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day operations and data movement between compensation applications. You will assist with facilitating Travelers' participation in annual market data surveys, supporting global mobility administration, and assessing Workday issues and updates. The Senior Consultant, Compensation Operations is a critical role to ensure that Travelers compensation package is on par with our competitors.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage job family and compensation hierarchy structures. Includes weekly validation and updates in human resources applications.
  • Aid in preparing materials for and supporting the market data survey participation process. Relay relevant information to internal stakeholders, compile findings and coordinate with relevant parties to review and validate survey results.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to load and validate survey results into an external market pricing application.
  • Work with key stakeholders to troubleshoot Workday issues and to facilitate mass updates when needed.
  • Assist with U.S. and international annual compensation planning procedures.
  • Provide support for global and domestic relocations including invoice management, reporting, tracking, and liaising with tax and relocation vendors and Travelers finance, tax, and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of experience working in compensation, human resources or analytical field such as finance or accounting.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills using Excel or other analytical software/tools. Ability to communicate analytics in relevant business terms.

Job Specific Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple data formats (.xlsx, .csv, .txt)
  • Self-starter who enjoys working independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience providing technical/operational customer support for various stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a timely and accurate manner.
