Job Summary

This position is responsible for aiding in or leading the development and implementation of complex technology projects. Represents the operations area in strategic planning activities and provides recommendations based on best practice benchmarking, data analysis and forecasting. Consults with clients to identify current and future business needs of large scale complex end-to-end processes. Provides oversight for research, design, build, testing, deployment, analysis, administering, and maintaining environments. Also is responsible for hardware and software technology components to meet current and future business needs; this includes monitoring and controlling the performance and status of technology components, providing technology component support, and problem resolution.

Demonstrates understanding of business unit and/or industry systems, processes and requirements


  • Represents business area externally in benchmarking and best practice efforts.
  • Applies business and industry experience to identify resource needs and process best practices in area of responsibility.
  • Represents the business area in strategic planning activities with senior level executives.
  • Understands departmental cost structure and touch points to other areas. Initiates implementation of solutions that positively impact profitability and operational efficiencies.



Gathers and analyzes business and stakeholder requirements. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures.


  • Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  • Applies best practices when summarizing, consolidating, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders and officers.
  • Analyzes/forecasts volumes, trends and resources within department as well as with business partners and clients.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues.
  • May direct the work of other staff members or lead a virtual cross functional team.
  • Manage efforts to test, debug, and analyze performance, and document hardware and software technology components
  • Manage efforts to implement hardware and software technology components by analyzing the current system environment using technical tools and utilities, performing complex product customization, and developing implementation and verification procedures to ensure successful installation of systems hardware/software.
  • Manage complex hardware and software technology component analysis, and evaluation of resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or expand service levels or tune hardware and software technology components for optimum performance.
  • Collaborates with service engineers, technology, architects, vendors, and business clients to ensure that the modified hardware and software technology components interact appropriately

  • Drives complex projects of critical importance to support organizational objectives.
  • Anticipates future impacts and needs for adaptations and changes in end-to-end processes at a global or enterprise level.
  • Creates business cases for specific process or projects with multiple touch points.



Initiates and supports business optimization efforts to enable effective and efficient delivery of valued services.


  • Prioritizes process improvement efforts/projects to align with business initiatives.
  • Develops innovative solutions in support of business optimization
  • Implements business optimization initiatives across areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinates and leads the implementation of business plans across the department.
  • Coordinates with business and auditors in preparation for and during audits
  • Supports and facilitates offshore/onshore sourcing ventures
  • Point of contact for escalated inquiries

Crawford Technologies

– 3+ years’ experience

  • PROAFP, PROPDF and PROPS modules – Print stream conversions
  • PRO Document Enhancer module – Pative composed document manipulation and enhancements. Adding/removing barcodes, document reformatting and sequencing.
  • PRO Indexer module – MRDF creation, screen and filters for reprinting of damaged documents



Canon Prisma Production

– 5+ years’ experience

  • Configuration – Queues, printers, tickets and input channels
  • Administrative – Adding/removing/configuration of users and user privilege levels
  • Workflow – Design, configuration and implementation
  • Ticket Rules - Design, configuration and implementation



Advanced Function Presentation

- 3+ years’ experience

  • PPFA – Formdef and Pagedef creation
  • TLE – placement and content validation



Quadient

- 3+ years’ experience

  • Inspire Automation
  • Inspire Designer



Automated Document Factory

– 3+ years’ experience – Understanding ADF concepts in a multi-vendor environment of high-speed inserting and printing equipment. End to end processing.



Python Development

– 5+ years’ experience

Job Qualifications
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience leading consulting teams and/or projects required.
  • Print Industry technology and production processes
  • Demonstrates mastery of facilitation in challenging situations of a difficult nature.
  • Ability to influence others
  • Experienced internal consultant, both in terms of client relationships as well as staff interaction and acts as a mentor to others.
  • Involves stakeholders from other functional areas in problem resolution, influencing others outside of area of responsibility to take action.
  • Provides employees with a line of sight between their work and these corporate goals and strategy
  • Mastery of communications in practical applications of a difficult nature with the ability to express ideas concisely and in an easily understood manner.
  • Adapts management style according to situation and people, fostering a positive and productive environment
Compensation Data

Compensation range for this position is $75,900 - $116,700/year. Actual salary offered will depend on selected candidate's experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
