This role pays in the range of $125,000-145,000 per year and includes a 10% yearly bonus. The final salary will be determned by the candidates skills and experience.
Duties:Lead product scoping, discovery, framing, and inceptions, providing technical input and translating user features into system design; lead and participate in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input, working in close partnership with the product manager; lead and participate in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups; lead and participate in retrospectives; lead the effort of shaping the architecture and design of the product; lead collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios (cross-product) in partnership with product managers, other peers, and key stakeholders; serve as an expert on multiple business domain and a distinguished advocate of multiple technology stacks; practice technical leadership, helping guide the team in choosing the right technology, solving technical problems, and resolving any technical conflicts within the team; coach the team and lead daily practices of using paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products and enhancements; and establish continuous deployment pipelines and practices.
Requirements:Master's degree in computer science, engineering, computer information systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in object-oriented analysis and design and development of web, enterprise, and client/server applications in a highly structured Agile environment or, alternatively, a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, computer information systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and seven (7) years of experience in object-oriented analysis and design and development of web, enterprise, and client/server applications in a highly structured Agile environment.
Must also possess the following:Demonstrated experience (DE) in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), system analysis, business process modeling, and re-engineering according to the Agile methodologies for digital products; DE developing and designing digital products using Java/J2EE software, including Spring Framework, Annotation, JPA2, and Hibernate frameworks; DE developing web services using Spring, Spring-Boot, REST Web Services, JSON, and data modeling with Relation and NoSQL database backend; DE architecting, solution designing, building, hosting, and supporting an open API, micro-service architecture, including Java stack hosted on tools: AWS, PCF, IBM IHS, WebSphere, Apigee, Layer7. and Swagger; DE designing, developing, implementing, and supporting container software to host web services using AWS AMI, VPC, EC2, Lambda, EBS, Load Balancers, Cloud Watch, S3, Route 53, IAM, Docker, and Kubernetes; DE building Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, which integrate/deploy code using tools, including Git, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode, Docker, Jython, and Gradle; and DE data modeling, designing, tuning, and supporting Oracle DBMS, ORM technologies, and Oracle and Mongo JSON Document store.
