We are looking for a strategic and creative thinker with an audience-first, results-driven mindset for the role of Content Manager for our Medicare Supplement and Life Insurance verticals. Candidates will have experience creating content and managing content production for a variety of channels and platforms, including social media, email, website, TV, virtual events, search, display, and more. The Content Manager is responsible for managing a small team and will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as demonstrate sound leadership and decision-making ability. The right person for this job wields words with precision, engages and activates audiences, and has a firm stance on the Oxford comma.


  • Provide content strategy for requests across all channels

  • Manage resource allocation and planning, report to director on under or over utilization of content staff

  • Partner with vertical marketing leaders and other functional team members to address all requests on scope and on time

  • Understand the consumer’s needs and develop effective communications that turn visitors into customers

  • Complete competitive analyses to determine trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

  • Communicate vertical priorities, issues, and performance to Director and Content Team on a regular basis

  • Work with other Content Managers and Director to establish content best practice

  • Coach and develop direct reports on content strategy and best practice

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or related fields, or equivalent experience

    • 2+ years in content development and/or marketing (We wouldn’t say no to content samples or a campaign you’re excited to share!)

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • You must be creative, innovative, a strong leader, organized, proactive, committed to high standards, and enthusiastic about reaching and exceeding goals
