Allstate is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our forward engineering team supporting Transformative Growth initiative within the Allstate Family of Companies.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- You will use the latest selected technology stack in your day-to-day development activities.
- You will work alongside other experienced engineers in a paired environment, sharing your knowledge and skills, and learning from others as the product progresses.
- This will be Software engineering position providing opportunity for both front-end UI and back-end services development experience, with a primary focus on back-end. Ideally you will already have experience in Java/Spring, however an enthusiasm for software engineering and a proven ability to investigate and apply new technologies in your current role will also be strongly considered.
- 1+ years technology development and implementation experience.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (especially Agile XP), including paired programming and test-driven development.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science preferred
- Spring Framework
- Microsoft SQL Server or MongoDB
Compensation range for this position is $60,000- $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
