Digital Optimization Analyst II

As a Sr. Digital Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for executing on the Director of Digital Optimization’s program vision for a one or more brands. Your focus will be on managing the planning and execution of day-to-day testing functions and practices, and communicating progress, successes and failures to key stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for determining the projected impact of testing initiatives and providing detailed analysis and insights on project results.


• Maintain close communication with the Director of Digital Optimization and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent methodology, governance and documentation practices as they pertain to the testing program

• Provide consultation around testing strategies, test plans and measurement

• Assist in strategically improving program metrics (win rate, test velocity, program impact, etc.)

• Work with the Director of Digital Optimization and key stakeholders to organize project timelines through work management and project roadmaps

• Obtain, organize, document and share testing project assets

• Communicate and resolve issues related to projects

• Manage process (including intake form, test plan creation, timeline development and communication), handoffs and timelines for tests

• Perform and present detailed qualitative analysis (in the form of surveys, competitive research and case studies) to influence test strategies

• Provide weekly test result updates to stakeholders

• Provide support and training to others across the organization in the execution of web experimentation

• Perform and present detailed quantitative analysis to influence new marketing initiatives and strategies

• Create experimental design plans (sample sizing, estimation of test duration, setting test success thresholds, determine KPI and secondary metrics/segments to track)

• Support analytics QA (tracking validation, test set-up validation)

• Identify areas of concern through close monitoring of test results and non-test initiatives (ie, browser underperforming may indicate a broken user experience)

• Perform and present final performance analysis, translate data into a concise, logical, and digestible format for company-wide sharing

• Discover and determine business insights & recommendations on next steps and iterative tests

Desired Skill Set

• 1+ years digital optimization experience

• Experience with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely, Google Optimize, or Adobe Target user

• Proficiency with Google Analytics

• Experience with Full Story a plus

• Ability to build strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional stakeholders

• Highly organized

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases

• Ability to conduct analytics and tell a cohesive story marrying analytics to business concepts and objectives.

• Competent in presentation and leading meetings

• Comfortable interfacing with technical team members
