Job Description

 

 

This role is within Business Process Redesign, an internal consultancy responsible for development of enterprise-wide operational consistency initiatives to drive expense reductions, improve the customer experience, and enable the organization to successfully deliver transformative growth initiatives. The Business Process Redesign team is responsible for leading the design and execution of processes which eliminate complexities, inefficiencies, high-cycle times and costs that conflict with simple and affordable insurance.

 

 

As a Lead Industrial Engineer on the Business Process Redesign team you will work with enterprise resources at the operational level to drive process improvements and identify compliance to process standards and strategies for consistent, repeatable flawless execution. You'll build a strong understanding of the company’s business processes and help ensure stakeholder objectives are met and represented in how service is built and delivered. You will also be responsible for aiding in the development, execution and leadership of projects across operational areas such as Service, Claims, the Contact Centers, and Agencies.  You will be a role model of change agility during our enterprise transformation, helping to drive a culture that embraces affordable, simple, and connected products; ensures interactions continually advance a customer’s connection to the enterprise; processes that are simple and lowest cost; and utilization of data and analytics to deliver a superior customer experience.

 

 

To be successful in this role you'll need a demonstrated application experience using analytical and industrial engineering skillsets in a business setting. 

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

    Contributes to policy/program development
    Independently determines approach to managing projects and teams
    Leads complex/critical program execution
    Impacts teams and department and aspects of functional and business results
    Prepares reporting at enterprise, AOR and regional level to inform performance
    Tracks and analyzes program/program plan performance
    Evaluates current results, identifies variances to planned performance, analyzes causes of variance and recommends action through tracking expense plan performance
    Anticipates and makes observations on market specific implications of business strategies
    Provides program management on complex and challenging research or technical assignments
    Advanced knowledge in the use of data sources and applications to conduct research
    Can analyze data and review analysis from others
    Determines appropriate analyses to be conducted to make recommendations to achieve corporate goals
    Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation
    Promotes idea generation and experimentation update
    Builds cross-functional partnerships
 

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience

 

 

    Professional with strong organizational, communication, people and project management skills
    Bachelors degree - Industrial Engineering
    Ability to analyze data and apply it to complex problem resolution
    5+ years’ experience in the use of industrial engineering methodology to conduct research 
    5+ years of project management experience
    3+ years relationship management experience
    5+ years of experience using statistical analysis

 

 

Compensation DataCompensation Data

The salary range for this role is $65K-$135K.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
