Cyber Broker is the person recognized by the client, client advocate team and the insurance marketplace as the day-to-day broker, negotiating terms and conditions of FINEX Cyber & E&O on behalf of our clients.

The Role




  • Placement broker dedicated to middle market FINEX Cyber broking

  • Client interaction, as needed, based on complexity of placements

  • Reporting to National FINEX MM Cyber Leader with Matrix into regional leadership

  • Utilize Portfolio/Panels to request and secure quotes

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with the carriers

  • Deliver quote options to our clients and educate them on the terms and conditions presented

  • Target book of Revenue: $1,000,000

  • Policy count: Up to 200 depending upon experience

  • Broker terms and conditions for FINEX Cyber and E&O coverages for existing and new clients with a focus on the adequacy of coverage and competitive premiums

  • Utilize pre-established panels of carriers that have pre-agreed to broad terms and conditions and to service standards that are beneficial to client

  • Provide day-to-day service to assigned clients, including the coordination of acquiring quotes, comparing terms and conditions, and binding coverage

  • Act as an available resource for clients and producers/client advocates in the specialized areas, including making recommendations

  • Participate in the efforts to grow via new and expanded business/placements, including the cross-sell of FINEX products and policy contract reviews

  • Coordinate with local offices to ensure alignment between broking and production strategies

  • Create client proposals using our Willis Excellence Model guidelines




The Requirements




  • Technical knowledge of FINEX product lines include Cyber, Tech E&O, Media and Miscellaneous E&O coverages

  • Knowledge and understanding of current marketplace/ carriers

  • Transactional oriented; Ability to work on multiple placements at once

  • Working knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Enhanced client service skills; skilled at interfacing with customers – internal and external

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Commitment to maintaining clear and accurate electronic files

  • Insurance broker's license required within 30 days of start date

  • Experience in either underwriting / broking / or claims roles
