Production Specialist

The Video Production Specialist serves in several capacities. This person will work with the Director of Video Production and stakeholders to meet high-level goals and expectations. This person is involved in the full lifecycle of the video production, including pre-production, production and post-production. This includes scheduling and operations leading up to the shoot, recruiting and working with talent, competitor research and agent focus groups, scripting, and more. When on set, the Video Production Specialist should be capable of serving as the Director if necessary, ensure the shoot is on time, on script, and be capable of answering any questions that are funneled up to them from the production crew. The Video Production Specialist reports into the Director of Video Production and also works closely with the Content Team and other company stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include:




  • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects




    • Responsible for initiating some of these (DRTV, internal marketing, content team needs, etc.) and serving as a resource to the rest of the company for others (training, recruiting, etc.)






  • Assist with and in some cases own the scripting, storyboarding, and timelines for projects




  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables




  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content




  • Work with Production Director to plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations, as needed; capable of making calls on these items for third parties like BWM




  • Develop production schedules, as needed




  • Communicate with talent to ensure all needs are met (schedules, hair and makeup, wardrobe, training with Bob, etc.); work with partners to select and hire talent; direct and coach talent




  • Work with internal and external partners on edits to scripts, videos, and final cuts




  • Manage video library




  • Make suggestions for future creatives based on performance analytics




  • Work with resources to establish a recurring competitive analysis of top performing spots




  • Work with resources to establish formal process for recurring agent focus groups




  • Advise and assist webinar/events team in any production or operational needs and edits post-event to prepare asset for other channels




  • Support in talent recruitment program




Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s Degree




  • Experience in production field including from concepting to pre and post production
