Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing and delivering on an enterprise Continuous Improvement strategy. Within this role, individuals will be tasked with partnering with senior leadership to be the primary CI COE owner for the end to end engagement of CI. This role helps deliver business outcomes by actively developing relationships within the business, promoting role modeling and ideal behaviors, engaging in collaborative problem solving and leading and developing a team within the CI COE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contributes to the development of the CI vision and strategy, executing on assigned aspects of the strategy in the short term and helping to refine and build out the long term strategy
  • Leads approach, execution and strategy of the CI management framework within assigned businesses; partnering with and influencing senior leaders 
  • Actively partners with senior leaders to guide problem identification, prioritization, and solving in order to advance business outcomes and CI maturity
  • Oversees deployment and maturation of the CI management framework within complex businesses (AORs)
  • Ensures consistent execution and delivery of the management system with assigned AOR; evaluates the effectiveness of and develops recommendations to improve CI across the end to end value stream
  • Responsible for advancing root cause problem solving systems and processes throughout the business through active partnership and collaboration with senior business leaders
  • Ensures that the CI COE delivers on the EVP; evaluates the effectiveness with which the EVP is delivered, contributing to the development and implementation of solutions when necessary
  • Builds, cultivates, and maintains long-term business relationships with other senior leaders to deliver on the CI strategy and achieve intended business outcomes
  • Leverages relationships with other internal key consulting partners and shared services functions to enhance effectiveness of CI 
  • Manages CI Leaders and CI Team Members
     
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; may also have advanced degree
  • 10 or more years of related experience

  • Confident, with the ability to influence, identify mindset challenges, and communicate persuasively to all levels of leadership
  • Advanced strategic thinking capabilities with experience in strategic and long-range planning and execution
  • Strong problem solver: Can structure, analyze, synthesize and expertly present findings, identify root causes, and develop pragmatic recommendations.  Can develop a solution and solve problems both creatively and independently
  • Ability to be productive, flexible and adaptable while working in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines 
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact effectively and professionally with a wide variety of internal clients
  • Advanced in Facilitation - Demonstrates advanced facilitation skills in facilitating meetings, processes and operations without requiring support from others
  • Broad or AOR specific knowledge of Allstate businesses, processes and services
  • Ability to successfully lead large-scale organizational change effort or large complex projects in ambiguous environments
     


 

Compensation Data

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $165,000 + Bonus.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
