Job Summary

The Social Media Manager will build promotional strategies for AdjusterTV and manage content, posts, graphics, and copy across our current platforms - and explore expanding to other platforms. This position will eventually evolve into a team leadership role.

Key Responsibilities


  • Creating social media posts on Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, including copy and graphics

  • Building our social media calendar

  • Managing our Facebook and LinkedIn profiles and groups

  • Responding to comments and DMs

  • Building relationships with influencers

  • Scheduling content to publish at optimal times

  • Assisting with livestream online and in-person events and promoting relevant hashtags

  • Assisting with product/course launches and other large promotional campaigns

  • Researching audiences and target customers

  • Keyword research and SEO

  • Social listening to monitor hashtags, keywords, and competitors

  • Analyzing data and offering insights in reports

  • Reporting on social media ROI

  • Reaching specific return on investment (ROI) goals

  • Implementing paid social media campaigns



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience


  • Knowledge of current graphics creation apps and social media publishing platforms

  • Communication. After all, you need to write social media copy that speaks to followers.

  • Creativity. Bringing color and some sizzle to what can be a dry - and yes, sometimes boring - industry is what we do.

  • Leadership. As adjusters, we're the first to step-up and take the bull by the horns.. then hang on for the ride.

  • Problem-solving. This role requires some independent-thinking. Make decisions and get stuff done.

  • Resilience. When you work with social media, you need to stay strong, so you can learn from failed experiments and look past negative comments.

  • Ownership. At AdjusterTV we take responsibility when things go well - and when things go sideways. We never pass the buck.



Compensation

This is a part-time, 1099 role with a lot of potential for growth for the right team member.
