Job Summary

The Value Quantification team supports the Data & Analytics department and their business partners by objectively quantifying, forecasting and measuring the impact of data & analytics to drive informed business decisions for Allstate. 

The Financial Lead Consultant leads daily execution of analysis and communication of financial results, development of compelling storylines and formulation of value KPIs for key analytic products and/or initiatives. This role facilitates achievement of business objectives with guidance, while ensuring financial credibility and reputation of high-quality financial measurement, reporting, planning and consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, manage and maintain a consistent value framework that drives transparency into analytic project value quantification and KPI forecasting and measurement
  • Serve as financial advisor in absence of manager, assisting Business Unit leaders and partners in a consultative manner and identifying needs in the areas of forecasting, planning, measurement, business case development and internal controls
  • Build and communicate convincing story lines and forward-thinking insights (with minimum focus/reliance on the numbers) to help leaders understand results, and anticipate/ understand challenges and opportunities for their business
  • Participate on multi-discipline project teams as financial advisor
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • This position may manage lower level analysts in accomplishing this work
Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience  
  • 5 or more years of related experience 

Functional Skills

  • High-level of knowledge of general corporate finance 
  • Demonstrated depth of financial and analytical expertise
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and general audit procedures
  • Experience as a business consultant in a finance related field 
  • Effective communication across multiple levels and mediums
  • Exposure to talent and people management skills 
Compensation Data

Compensation range for this position is $80,000 -$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
