Job Summary

A Communications Associate Manager supports the strategic direction of Allstate, ATSV and Enterprise Transformation by developing strategic communication plans and executing upon the plans; a variety of different communication deliverables and vehicles are used to reach defined stakeholders and address various business goals.
Develops client communication plans, produces materials and coordinates associated activities in support of effectively helping employees understand organizational change and how it aligns to broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy development

  • Develops communication strategies and materials to support new plans, programs & processes
  • Solicits and integrates input from key stakeholders
  • Proactively evaluates procedures and processes regularly and determines/ recommends alternatives or improvements
  • Ensures processes are followed and applied consistently throughout team/department
  • Evaluates and implements process improvements to internal and external compliance requirements/standards

Project Management

  • Consistently plans, implements, manages, and/ or sponsors projects of moderately high to high complexity 
  • Forecasts short-term and long-term deliverables cross functionally
  • Formulates strategies to achieve plan objectives
  • Communicates and presents project information to project team as well as providing presentation/ updates to senior level management
  • Actively builds strong relationships among teams and team members to ensure cooperation on project objectives
  • Manages all-project-related expenses 
  • Supports governance process

Manage Human Resources:

  •  Collaborates with team membersActively shares expertise among peers and other disciplines
  • Adheres to company’s management practices and processes
  • Supports and executes performance management and development plans for all direct reports

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This job does not have supervisory duties
Job Qualifications

Education and Experience 

  • 7+ years experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Communication, English, or Journalism degree preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Pervious management experience a plus

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • None required

Functional Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Strong communication and project management skills required
Compensation Data

Compensation for this position is $76,000-$115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications .

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
