Job Summary

The Social Media Manager will be an instrumental player in the integrated brand marketing team, developing Avail’s social media & influencer strategy, and managing execution across all social media platforms and channels. Key responsibilities include writing creative briefs, managing content/creative development, and deploying assets for all Avail social media platforms (including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). This role will also manage day-to-day updates on all social media pages and feeds, oversee community management, and drive the future of Avail’s social community though developing and deploying engagement and retention strategies. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Creative, and Execution

  • Develop Avail’s social and influencer strategy in partnership with brand team, and translate that strategy into actionable creative briefs
  • Partner with copywriters and designers to develop platform-specific creative, identifying and guiding creative teams on best practices
  • Lead project management of asset development and deployment, managing day-to-day relationship with creative agency, media/influencer agency & internal creative teams
  • Manage posting and maintenance of all organic content, and coordination of paid content deployment with in-house digital media team and agency
  • Create, schedule and publish the editorial calendar for social media channels in partnership with the integrated marketing team and agency partners 


 

Community Management and Engagement

  • Lead community management strategy and oversee quality of execution and process between Allstate and Customer Support teams, ensuring comments and customer queries are responded to in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to develop social brand voice to be used across social media channels and community management responses
  • Develop outbound community engagement strategy to grow digital community sentiment  
  • Own strategy for review platforms including Google My Business, Yelp, and Facebook Reviews


 

Reporting and Thought Leadership:

  • Define KPIs and measure the success of campaigns in partnership with Marketing Analyst
  • Lead regular auditing and reporting on reviews, comments, customer sentiment and customer support needs
  • Keep the broader marketing team informed of the latest social media best practices and technologies, actings as an internal thought leader on all things social 
Background/Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in social media marketing at a brand or agency
  • Strong understanding of complex social media landscape, including relationship between paid, organic, influencer, community management and community building
  • Experience developing, executing, and continuously optimizing an integrated, multi-channel social strategy based on the latest platform innovations, cultural trends, and business needs
  • Has working knowledge of both performance and brand creative, and can support the creation of both types of content 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, define deliverables, build realistic timelines, track and manage multiple projects, track asset usage rights, etc.
  • Experience with community management and outbound engagement 
  • Able to identify and measure social KPIs that drive meaningful business results
  • An eye for what makes “good” creative, and passion for social media culture, audiences, platforms, and the latest trends
  • Experience creating TikTok content and management with Sprinklr is a plus

Compensation Data

Compensation range for this position is $64,700 - $112,000 per year, based on experience and

qualifications.
