Job Summary:


The Analyst is responsible for analyzing highly complex fraud patterns and Allstate's exposure to fraudulent claims looking for patterns of suspected fraud and helping to recommend appropriate cases for prosecution. The individual determines a course of action once a pattern has been identified and oversees investigations and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
  • Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process
  • Analyzes highly complex investigation data involving multiple claims and multiple entities participating in fraudulent schemes
  • Interacts and exchanges information with claim personnel, investigators, management, fraud bureaus, law enforcement, and industry anti-fraud groups
  • Analyzes legal bills to assess appropriateness of charges and detect duplicate billing
  • Designated as the Corporate Representative 30 (b) (6) both as to the person with the most knowledge and responsible for articulating damage calculation to include but not limited to case specific policy, practices, and procedures
  • Directs and facilitates with litigation counsel consistent handling on the underlying claims along with the global case
  • Works with counsel and Corporate Lit Counsel on discovery and interrogatory responses
  • Acts as a resource to management on highly complex analyses of claim fraud data and activity
Job Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of litigation claims handling, required
  • 5+ years of experience handling complex case investigations, preferred
  • Plaintiff litigation handling experience, a plus
  • Experience in building of affirmative actions, a plus
  • Applies advanced knowledge of project oversight
  • Applies advanced knowledge of insurance policy, coverage, and regulation
  • Applies advanced knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards
  • Applies advanced knowledge of analytical procedures to reconcile, manipulate, and recognize patterns of data
  • Applies advanced knowledge of problem-solving and preparation of complex reports for analysis
  • Applies advanced negotiation and/or arbitration skills
  • Applies advanced conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing internal and external customer relationships

The selected candidate must be able to travel for trials and court, as needed.

Compensation offered for this role is $67,300.00-$113,875.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
