Job Description
This job is responsible for investigating, negotiating and settling basic and occasionally moderately complex property damage insurance claims. The analyst uses high resolution photographs provided by virtual imagery solutions to identify damages and write a damage estimate from a virtual setting. This individual reviews the insurance policy, evaluates damages, determines loss coverage, and authorizes payments.
Key Responsibilities
• Conducts a detailed review of the property and writes an estimate to capture the extent of the damages
• Uses high resolution photographs provided by virtual imagery and uses advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors to identify damages and write a damage estimate from a virtual setting
• Inspects and estimates water damage, hail damage, or smoke and fire damage in a dwelling
• Completes and reviews contents inventory, contents pricing, and mitigation bills
• Prepares damage estimates for moderately complex claims
• Reviews the policy and decides how coverage applies and provides the customer with a detailed explanation of both the estimate and the policy
• Uses data and analytics to tell a story and influence decision making
• Negotiates claim settlements with customers in accordance with business unit standard methodologies
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 2 years minimum experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $47,440.00 - 70,415.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
