    Great post, Michael. There is always a lot of confusion when it comes to Surety in general for contractors. It’s hard to figure out where to start for most of them!     I don’t know if this is the place to ask a question or not, but! I’d like to know how long a bond is in place after a business closes their doors?

      Great question, Jim! The short answer is, a contract bond, such as a surety bond lives along with the project contract.
