Which insurers offer trustee liability in California, and can you also name some brokers in California that work in the trustee area? Thank you.

I am a trustee for a family member of a small $100,000.00 trust. What would be my cost to insure against legal and or other liability?

    Thanks,

My sister and I both beneficiaries of a property in California. My sister is the trustee and she transfer that paid for property into her name only. Am I no longer a beneficiary of that property?

There are several carriers that I am aware of that will write Trustee Liability. Some of which include Great American, Beazley and Houston Casualty. Premiums depend on trust size and the revenue derived from their operations. Expect minimum premiums that likely begin around $2000-$2500 and higher. My firm can place this business for anyone in the 25 states that we are licensed in. All of New England, CA, FL, CO, PA, NY, CT, SC, NC, GA, & others.
