Great article! You need to write one where the real problems lies, the INSURER! They do NOTHING about classification whether it’s auto or SIC codes, no enforcement at all. I own very active, new business driven agencies, we walk away from 50% of our sales due the reasons I described. The Insurers love to rattle their sabers but do little else. They cry and whine about lost premium and do nothing about it. Until the insurers puts some teeth in denying claims and making the agent responsible for classifying correctly, your wasting your time.
