Property and casualty veteran Mark LaBour has joined Alliant’s growing Florida practice. As vice president within the company’s Alliant Americas division, LaBour will deploy targeted risk management and insurance options to clients throughout the Southeastern United States spanning a range of industries.

LaBour joins Alliant with more than two decades of experience serving clients across a range of industries and disciplines, including construction, real estate, healthcare, finance, staffing, environmental, aviation and marine. Prior to joining Alliant, LaBour was Area vice president within the Boca Raton, Fla., office of a global insurance brokerage firm, where he serviced a diverse portfolio of large-to-midsized clients.

Alliant Americas provides midsized businesses with targeted insurance, risk management and consulting services.

Headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., Alliant Insurance Services Inc. provides property and casualty, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, surety and financial products and services to thousands of clients nationwide.

Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. (BSA), headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., has promoted Nick Saldana to the position of claim representative II in its Tennessee Claims Department, according to Jeff Pettus, president and chief executive officer of BSA.

With increased responsibility, Saldana is reviewing, processing and handling medical workers’ compensation claims as assigned by Bonnie Moser, Tennessee claims supervisor.

He determines the compensability of the claim and extent of liability and communicates directly with clients, employers, injured workers, physicians and attorneys to manage claims in a timely and economic manner.

Saldana came to BSA in October 2013 as a claim assistant with the occupational accident team. His bilingual skills in Spanish enable him to assist with BSA clients and their employees. In May 2015, he was promoted to claim examiner II in the Tennessee Claims Department, and in October 2015, was elevated to the claim representative I position.

Prior to joining BSA, Saldana was an audio engineer for M & C Entertainment in Nashville and a customer service representative for The General Insurance in Nashville. Saldana attended the SAE Institute of Technology.

Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. provides claims management and loss control services to employers and employer associations with self-insured and large deductible programs for workers’ compensation and other casualty lines throughout the contiguous 48 states. BSA employs a coordinated approach to claims administration and loss control to reduce the cost of claims for its clients. BSA also provides underwriting, policy management and accounting services to association-sponsored pools and mutual insurance companies.

Beecher Carlson Insurance Services LLC, a specialized large account insurance broker, has promoted Erin Lynch to president of its Global Energy Practice. Lynch will lead the production and service teams that specialize in risk financing for power generation clients.

Beecher Carlson has also promoted energy team members Geraldine Kerrigan, and Andrea Ash. Kerrigan is now executive managing director for client and brokerage services.

Kerrigan will lead a team comprised of the practice’s brokers and account executives.

Ash will serve as managing director/chief operating officer for the Global Energy Practice. Ash is responsible for overseeing the department’s operations, revenue and process improvement initiatives.

Beecher Carlson Insurance Services LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brown & Brown Inc., which, through its subsidiaries, offers a range of insurance and reinsurance products and services as well as risk management, third-party administration and managed health care programs.

Stephen Harrell has been named president and chief operating officer of Insurance Specialty Group LLC (ISG), effective Jan. 1.

According to Bruce Harrell, chairman & CEO to the company, Stephen Harrell, who previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer, led ISG through the addition of a new primary and excess general liability facility, an organizational re-launch and a restructure of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Harrell began a career in insurance with Marsh USA Inc. He joined ISG in October of 2010 to work as a territory underwriting manager, focusing on business management and new product development.

ISG is a managing general underwriter specialzing in insurance and risk management for the residential construction and light commercial construction industries.
