PIANH To Hold Annual Conference

e Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire Inc. will convene its 2002 Annual Conference on Wednesday, May 22, at the Marriott Courtyard and Grappone Conference Center in Concord.

Current market conditions, particularly the hard market which has recently developed, will be the primary topic of discussion for agents and brokers attending the conference, which will “mix education sessions for CE credit, an informative keynote address by New Hampshire Insurance Commissioner Paula Rogers, and events designed to foster networking and the exchange of ideas.”

The bulletin from the PIANH announced that, “The conference’s panel discussion, Market Conditions and Strategies in 2002, (approved for 1.5 NHCE hours) features an esteemed group of industry authorities who will address situations agents and brokers face regularly such as: establishing priorities, complying with underwriters without compromising goals; the impact of Sept. 11. reinsurance issues and much more.”

“Panelists include: John Gray, senior vice president, General Reinsurance Corp.; John Natale, marketing vice president, Royal Insurance; Larry Shaw, president and CEO, Maine Mutual; and Bob Zak, president and CEO, Merchants Insurance Group.”

” Other morning education offerings include ISO 2000 Homeowners Update (approved for 1.5 NHCE hours), and Commercial Lines Loss Control Program (submitted for NHCE approval).”
