PIANJ Announces “Agents in the Know” Program

The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey Inc. will host an informational program for members to discuss current insurance legislative issues with association leadership, Thursday, May 15 at the Brunswick Hilton and Towers, Brunswick, N.J. at 9 a.m.

The PIANJ member-only program will feature discussions on topics such as auto reform and ownership of expirations by PIANJ President David Madara, CPCU, AAI; PIANJ Vice President and Governor’s Auto Task Force Liaison John D’Agostino Jr., CIC; PIANJ Auto Task Force Chairman Paul Monacelli, CIC, CPIA; and PIANJ Legislative Representative Leon Zimmerman.

“PIANJ continuously works for and supports legislation that benefits our members,” Madara state. “This venue allows us to explore, ask questions and receive feedback regarding the issues that most affect New Jersey insurance agents and brokers.”

The bulletin noted that breakfast would be served at 8:30 a.m., prior to the program, and indicated that more information may be obtained by contacting the PIANJ’s Education and Conference Department at (800) 424-4244 or by e-mail at: education@piaonline.org. The event is $20 in advance; $30 at the door. Registration must be received before May 12 to qualify for the pre-registration discount.
