Just noticing that you’ve put an EXCLUSIVE banner above your On-Line East News piece on the Hurricane Fund. Since The Standard has been covering this subject since October of ’03 we think that this is a misnomer at the very least.

Also, last week you had an “Exclusive” above your article regarding the Hanover vs. Arbella suit which was the front page headline in our February 27th issue of The Standard, a good week prior to your “breaking” this news.

We wish you luck with your new East version of Insurance Journal but would appreciate it if you refrained from characterizing articles as exclusives when clearly they are not.

As the past few years have showed us the reinsurance market has been void in many areas. It is still unclear to what area the Reinsurance market will start to open up first? It appears that gone are the years such as the late 80’s-early 90’s when the reinsurance market handed our markets. I believe we will see more of what Mass, is proposing in all kinds of areas. HO is just the start.
