It looks like much effort and thought has gone into this proposal. However, most of the effort has been centered around how to increase jobs and save money in the manufacturing sector. There is much less benefit to those of who responsible for the day-to-day oversight of not-for-profit health care providers. Unfortunately, we see the same cost increases with little or no relief and our revenue stream is 80% reliant on the state budgeting process. I’m in favor of helping our workers, but it won’t help our workers if we have to close a nursing home or a hospital because we don’t receive revenue increases to cover the increase in costs that are out of our control.
