The SAN Group, the network of independent insurance agencies in the Northeast, announces that Richard Vaughan has joined SAN Group as vice president for the northern New England states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Vaughan’s primary responsibility will be working to identify and develop potential new SAN members in these states. In addition, he will work with existing SAN members on business development and enhancing their income through participation in SAN Group’s excess compensation programs.
Vaughan brings to SAN Group over 20 years of insurance experience, both on the company side as a marketing representative for a number of large carriers, and on the agency side as a producer for several locally-owned agencies.
“Dick is well-versed in working with independent agencies throughout New England, and will bring the experience needed to help SAN members, and potential SAN members, grow their agencies,” says Matthew Masiello, SAN’s chief operating officer.
The SAN Group is the founding member of SIAA, Inc., an international network of Independent insurance agencies with over 1,400 independent insurance agencies writing over $3.1 billion in premiums.
