As a Buffalonian from birth, I am happy about the growth for Geico and the many happy Insured’s they seem to create; and the many jobs they have created for our area workers; however, as a Customer Service Rep for a local independent agent, I see everyday the loss of our clients to Geico. We can’t blame them since the premiums are substantially lower but it might close our doors eventually in Personal Lines automobile. It is forcing us to look at other options and writing in other areas which may in the long run be good for our agency but is looking very bad for us right now.
