DOES anyone ever question the numbers anymore or do we eat it up? The 10,000 policies at $360 each is $3,6mill. no where near $58 mill that Codey talks about. Did anyone ask him where in the world that figure comes from? Also, anyone figure the cost to us, the person who has to use their uninsured/underinsured motorists coverage?

When does it end? This is like honey on dog do-do! How does this help any NJ driver or their premium levels. The people that enforce (judges) and make the laws (congress) are attorney’s. The people that instigate bogus law suits against other people are attorney’s. See a conflict? Where is Spitzer on that one? Unbelievable – when you get down to a dollar a day for something that matters, then release the info.! If that’s the best Cody has to offer NJ – BOHICA!

So many ignorant people carry on about attorneys (Please note that the plural of attorney is not attorney’s) until they need one themselves.

Wow! Only a politician could collect $3.6 million in premium and calim $58.6 Million in savings.

But the next step, mark my words, will be a “demand” that companies lower their premiums by 5% or more to reflect the savings of this great new innovative program!

And who do you think will be leaving NJ next?

Whatever happened to responsibility? NJ is typical of the NE U.S. This $1 a day bull is for medical insurance, not the required liability coverages. If they can’t afford insurance, then they can’t afford a car or a license. If they don’t have insurance, aren’t they breaking the law? Pull their license and confiscate their vehicles and sell them (also put in a mechanism that they can’t buy another car). If you sell enough vehicles, you can put $58 million in the coffers, cut the uninsured population, and maybe convince other uninsureds to be responsible and follow the law (last time I looked at NJ, it’s against the law to drive without LIABILITY insurance).

Wrong, Jimbo! It USED to be against the law. Now all you need is to be on welfare with Medicaid. $360 later you still have no insurance, but the state will let you drive legally. An extra added attraction is that the state now has a pool of premium to reimburse Medicaid when these “insureds” are injured in an auto accident (instead of Medicaid paying first dollar). Purchasers of this policy are now 10,000 strong – as if driving in Jersey wasn’t dangerous enough!

You’re correct; a lot of ignorant people complain about attornies. A lot of informed people complain about them as well.

What is this bull #@&*. It’s not fair for the people who work their *** off so they can afford insurance, all though leaving nothing much afterwards. I work paycheck to paycheck paying my bills, and the people that sit home every day watching Oprah, they get the cheap insurance. I pay $3,000 for full coverage on one vehicle. Go figure!

This thing kills me my cousin is on this insurance policy. I thought in new jersey liability is mandatory. anyways she was hit in the rear but her company does coever liability good thind that she didnt cause the accident. She basically had to fend for herself. I understand that low-income individuals need auto insurance to get to school/work .etc I myself make less than $ $14,000 dollars a year, but insurance companies want to charge me $3000 – $4000 dollars a year thats like a 1/4 of my annual wages. So what I did is get an older rekative to register and insure my car in their name. I mean if I didnt do that I wouldn’t even be able to make it to work to get the measley $14,000 a year.
