Who’s investigating the investigator. I think some subpoenas should be issued. Press conferences should be called.

The infamous Eliot Spitzer is like any other Democrat ……….. sly, sleek and pushes “beyond” the limit until they get caught! His arrogance and total abuse of the political system is more reason for Pataki to declare for his re-election and let the battle begin!

Regardless of who did what and the outcome, this whole thing started as a ploy by Spitzer to run for Governor. He took on the biggest man he could find……little did he know how far it would go and how much help his target would give him by making such bad moves

I have no problem with the investigation of bid rigging, it’s illegal, and needs to be cleaned up.I have stated on many occasions, on this site and others, IRMI, that the contingent comission offshot of the bid rigging is frankly off the wall, and has hurt many professional people in this industry.

I have absolutely no problem with the investigation of any insurer who does not hold to FASB rules, does so called insurance deals with no transparency, and who cooks the books, as we shall soon find out with some of the so called household names. I think I could conjur up a dooms day scenario which put’s AIG insolvent, but that wouldn’t happen will it!

What I find unsettling, is the lack of guts by a fair share of insurance executives who are letting the AG and SEC dictate their knee jerk reactions, when they have nothing to hide. Sptizer has for all intents, brought a professional segment of this industry to its knees. Legitimate Finite business is just that, legitimate, it has a distinct use, and is when properly underwritten, Legitimate.
