This child was born via a surrogate. The parents are now divorced. This child is now blind, brain damaged and suffers from cerebral palsy. A doctor has lost his reputation, a hospital will be re-allocating resources necessary for proper medical care to pay a verdict.

None of this was God\’s plan and an innocent will pay the biggest price…

Wish there more details about the specifics in trial, An OB/gyn didn\’t interpret the strips properly and the jury finds the nurses are 60% ? Something is missing.

The article seems to say the hospital is 60% at fault because the nurses didn\’t alert the doctor about the potential problem. And I guess the doctor is 40% at fault for not finding out for himself.

I’m shocked. Dr. Doelger has been my Dr. For 30 years. I had never heard about this tragedy. I can only say something went terribly wrong. Wish there more facts. Still trust him with my life, he’s a wonderful Dr.
